the « Salsamor Gang » in the 1950’s
The
background
Cuba
anno 1950’s. A world dominated by maffiagangs, corruption and violence.
An exciting, tough struggle for life that often took place against the background
of a steaming nightlife. What happens when a lifelong conflict gets finally
settled on the dancefloor ? Only one way to find out: pay a visit to the Bruto
Brothers’ nightclub and watch their salsa dance-act.
The
characters
run the most prestigious nightclub in town,
where they love to show off their dancing tricks. This is however only a cover-up
for their dirty business. They mainly occupy themselves with booze, cigars
and women.

Bruto Brothers, Pepe « El Macho »
and
Galimero « Calvo »
The
characters ctd.
One
of these women is Lola « La Flor ».
This femme fatale has worked her way up from showgirl to Pepe « El Macho
» Bruto’s righthand and girlfriend. Is she really as innocent as
she looks or does she have a hidden agenda of her own ?
Carlos
« The Boss » Elasticos doens’t only have an eye on the business
of the Bruto Brothers but also on Lola. And he’ll do whatever he can to
obtain all power via Lola.
The
plot
See for yourself how this battle finally
ends on the dancefloor in a mix of steaming salsa, ultimate seduction, fist
fights and smoking guns.
As you will have noticed this isn’t
just the next salsademo in the row; besides new salsamoves this act is based
on a plot, brought with a lot of attention to details. On a mix of two recognizable
salsasongs and sound effects the story comes to life, full of humor, fighting
and acrobatic moves.
